I made this photograph on the Trotternish Peninsula, waiting for a break in the cloud cover to throw some directional light across the moorland to the right while the loch stayed dark and still. That single tree on its rocky islet in the foreground gives the whole scene a sense of scale that the Storr ridge alone doesn't quite convey.
